watch out for the puffins
Anyone that has ever sat through a brainstorming session with me will know that I have a terrible fixation with treasure hunts. So how happy was I to see this advertised in this morning’s Metro?!

Hi Claire - great to read your blog and thanks for your link to our website. Delighted you like our puffins. It’s puffinmania out there - everyone seems to want one. We’ve had great fun with it and there’s still loads of them out there - and lots of prizes not claimed yet. We’ve got some great pictures of people with their puffins coming in, so will be posting them on our website soon. Tonight though, have flopped with a glass of wine - 300 puffins down and only 200 to go…

I was walking home from school today, and found a puffin in North Berwick, much to my surprise! I had read an article about it in the Scotsman in the paper earlier this week - thought it was a cool idea, but doubted it would be possible to find one! Unfortunately the one I found didn’t have a prize attached to it

I’m jealous that you found a puffin, Jean! Though I guess my chances are improved with all this snow. Surely they’ll be a bit harder to find now..!
