I’m about to set off on holiday for a week of festival frolics but thought I’d seize the chance before I go to hijack the blog for my own selfish ends. The above is my show. Well, it’s Owen McCafferty’s really. A leading contemporary Northern Irish playwright. This adaptation premiered in Belfast last autumn and this will be the Scottish premiere, for what that is worth. I am directing. More details can be found here. I’m also experimenting with Twitter. Ticket sales are going pretty well as it happens. So if you happen to be Edinburgh-way next Monday to Saturday at approx 8:15pm, please do pop in. We’d love to see you.

A great write up from the BBC here on a new venture from Blonde and our new digi planner, Jim Wolff.
It’s a great little site. I’ve been playing with it over the past couple of days. Get twittering and tagging your reviews and wish them well.
Great website here from the masters of imaginative play at LEGO. I like the monster prowling, lights a-flashin’, around the edges of the home page.
At last, deserved recognition for the man with his finger on Britain’s cultural pulse.
Belatedly, some summer party pics. Not a wallflower or a shrinking violet in sight.
